Once again, students from the Scientific Deepening Campus—a program aimed at high school students nationwide with the best academic results—visited the Garray biomass plant. The initiative allows young people to get closer to technological innovation and applied bioeconomy, showing firsthand how biomass is transformed into renewable energy.
During the visit, students were able to closely observe the thermal and electrical generation processes, as well as the technologies implemented by ENSO to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and traceability of forest resources. The experience provided them with a real insight into the operation of an industrial plant working under a circular economy model.
The tour included explanations on biomass management, boiler operation, and environmental control systems, highlighting how technological innovation can drive sustainable development and serve as a practical application of the scientific concepts studied in class.
