ENSO Presents Its Circular Economy Project at the BIOPLAT Annual Assembly

Commitment to Bioeconomy and Industrial Decarbonization

ENSO participated in the BIOPLAT Annual Assembly, the Spanish Biomass Platform, presenting its Garray (Soria) project as a benchmark in the development of the circular bioeconomy. ENSO’s presentation was one of the highlights of the event, considered the golden minute of the day, attracting the attention of 104 attendees connected to the session.

During its presentation, ENSO explained how the Garray project has established itself as a driving force for the circular economy in Castilla y León, demonstrating the potential of biomass as a strategic resource to generate renewable energy, reduce emissions, and stimulate rural development.

The project integrates the entire biomass value chain—from sustainable forest management to the production of thermal and electrical energy—ensuring an efficient, traceable, and sustainable model that maximizes the use of local resources.

ENSO emphasized the importance of public-private collaboration and alliances with administrations, forestry companies, and local communities to build solid and lasting bioeconomy ecosystems capable of generating stable employment and enhancing local territories.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to technological innovation and sustainability as key pillars of its strategy, aimed at accelerating the decarbonization of industry and transport through clean and circular energy solutions.

Participation in BIOPLAT reinforces ENSO’s role as an active agent in transforming Spain’s energy and industrial model, driving projects that combine positive environmental impact, profitability, and territorial cohesion.

Through this presentation, ENSO consolidates its leadership in bioenergy and the circular economy, contributing to the achievement of the European Union’s climate neutrality targets for 2050 and positioning biomass as a key element of the new energy paradigm.
