The 13th edition of Expobiomasa and the 1st Renewable Gas Exhibition attracted over 7,500 professional visitors and featured 327 companies. Additionally, 400 attendees participated in the 14th International Bioenergy Congress.
The inauguration delegation stopped by to greet us at our stand—not surprising, as we operate one of the region’s most established biomass plants!
Our stand drew significant attention, with many visits from professionals across the sector. Our presentation at the Bioenergy Congress on our experience with RED II Directive also attracted interest, as ENSO is the second company in Europe certified under the SURE scheme, making us pioneers and a reference point in the field.
Furthermore, the talk by our CEO, Emilio L. López Carmona, on the Challenges of Biomass as a Primary Energy Source in Industrial Processes was a great success. This is a topic we master, having over 20 years of experience executing biomass installations of all sizes and supplying biomass to these facilities.
The inauguration delegation included:
Hon. Mayor of Valladolid, Óscar Puente Santiago
Hon. Councillor for Development and Environment of the Junta of Castile and León, Juan Carlos Suárez-Quiñones Fernández
Hon. Councillor for Economy and Finance of the Junta of Castile and León, Carlos Javier Fernández Carriedo
Director of Renewable Energies at IDAE, Víctor Marcos Morell
