Committed to ensuring a healthy work environment as a core operational principle

At ENSO, working safely is not a goal —it is a non-negotiable condition from the very first minute. Our operational model, in both construction and the operation and maintenance of biomass plants, involves high-risk activities: working at heights, ATEX zones, pressurized boilers, electrical systems, among others. That is why we implement a strong, shared, and demanding preventive culture, anchored in the Zero Accidents Objective.
This commitment is not symbolic —it is strategic. We approach it through a model of continuous improvement, active participation, technical control, and responsible leadership.
We strive to preserve the physical, mental, and emotional health of everyone working in our plants. We promote healthy work environments through work-life balance measures, health monitoring, exposure control (noise, dust, chemical agents), and awareness programs.
At ENSO, safety is non-negotiable. We manage high-risk environments —working at heights, confined spaces, pressurized systems, ATEX zones— with a preventive culture that extends from management to the operator. Each facility has specific procedures, critical operational standards, and order and cleanliness control systems (5S).
We apply a rigorous methodology for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing risks. Each plant has a dynamic risk matrix that integrates information from audits, operational deviations, new regulations, and situations identified through direct observation. This matrix guides the planning of preventive measures and ensures continuous technical and documentary control.
We foster a shared safety culture, where all hierarchical levels participate actively. Tools such as Safety Spot Observations (SSO), internal developments, and anonymous reporting boxes on-site help identify risks and enable early action. Safety meetings and the active involvement of plant managers, supervisors, and operators make prevention a collective and daily practice.
Prevention is only effective if it evolves. That is why we periodically audit all critical processes, review action plans, and measure indicators such as accident frequency rates, number of observations made, compliance with standards, and participation in training. Through newsletters, safety alerts, and annual corporate events, we share best practices and learn from each experience to continuously raise our standards.
